Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray is a nasal spray works to reduce swelling, inflammation and irritation in your nose to effectively relieve hay fever symptoms. Treating an itchy, blocked or runny nose, the spray can help to prevent sneezing and leave you feeling less congested.
Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray contains 50 micrograms of beclometasone dipropionate, which has an anti-inflammatory action. This medicine belongs to a group called corticosteroids and it quickly works to treat hayfever symptoms without making the user feel drowsy.
How do I use Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray?
Before using the spray, make sure you read the enclosed information to understand how to use it properly. Only ever use the spray how your doctor has told you.
Gently shake the bottle, insert into the nostril (with your finger closing your other nostril) and spray. Breathe out through your mouth and then repeat with the other nostril. This product should only be used in the nose and should not be sprayed anywhere else (particularly the eyes or mouth).
For adults aged 18 years and over, spray twice into each nostril every morning and evening. Once your symptoms have improved, you may be able to reduce this dosage to ne spray (in each nostril) every morning and evening.
Side effects & precautions
Do not use more than 4 sprays in each nostril in a day. Do not use for more than one month continuously without talking to a doctor.
You should consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If your symptoms have not improved after using the spray for 7 days then you should discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Do not use the Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray if it is damaged or broken and keep it out of reach of children. If the problem still persists after using this product or if any pain or irritation occurs then consult a doctor.
