Daktarin cream has been tried and tested to stop the spread and to clear up fungal infections with daily use within 7-10 days.

Daktarin cream is not licensed for use to stimulate hair growth and there is limited scientific research to suggest that Daktarin is an effective treatment for hair loss.
How does Daktarin cream work?
Daktarin cream contains miconazole nitrate which is commonly used to treat fungal infection. When Daktarin is applied to the skin and nails the miconazole targets fungal cells and makes holes in their membranes causing them to die which prevents further spread of the infection and heals the treated areas.
How long does Daktarin cream take to work?
Daktarin should be used daily for at least 10 days to treat fungal nail and skin infections.
You should keep using the Daktarin cream up until 10 days even if it appears that your infection has cleared. If you stop using Daktarin earlier than 10 days the infection is more likely to come back.
If your infection has not improved after using Daktarin cream daily for 10 consecutive days you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist for advice.
