Pregnacare Original tablets are a daily vitamin and mineral tablet which is designed to support you throughout your pregnancy and beyond. They also contain 400µg of folic acid, which is also recommended by the NHS in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and can be used throughout pregnancy. Can I take these tablets if I’m taking other medication?

If you are taking other medication, then you will usually be able to take Pregnacare Original without any problems. However, you should speak to your doctor or a pharmacist before using this product if you are taking medication to be sure that they won’t interact. Do not take this product if you are taking anticoagulants, or blood thinners, as these tablets contain vitamin K.

Can I continue taking these supplements after I’ve had my baby?

Pregnacare Original tablets are not suitable for children. These supplements contain iron, which can be very harmful to young children if taken in excess.
